SCIENCE TRILOGY REVISION PAGE

What is in this GCSE course? Details of exams, other elements and marks

This course is taught in units and covers all aspects of Biology, Chemistry and Physics required by the National Curriculum.  The assessment happens through six papers each of 1 hour and 15 minutes duration. Students sit paper 1 in biology, then chemistry, then physics followed by paper 2’s in the same order. Each paper contains 70 marks. The marks from all papers are combined so a good performance in one can redress a poor performance in another. The content is equivalent to two GCSE’s and two grades are awarded.
