What is in this GCSE course? Details of exams, other elements and marks

This course is taught in units, each exploring different aspects of chemistry. Each unit has links to each of the other units and to units taught in other science GCSE’s. Chemistry GCSE is assessed entirely through two examination papers of equal length. Paper 1 assesses units 1-5 and Paper 2 assesses unit 6-10. Each paper contains 100 marks and are 1 hour 45 minutes in length.
