Required for a January start or earlier, we invite applications for our Head of Art position. The successful person will lead a department that consistently achieves outstanding outcomes at GCSE. This post would suit an experienced Head of Art or someone who is seeking their first head of department post. This is a perfect opportunity to join the Technology and Enterprise group of subjects, which greatly values the creative subjects such as Art, Design and Technology within the curriculum. We currently have multiple GCSE Classes and we are keen to develop our GCSE offer within these disciplines. Art is a strong feature throughout the three-year KS3. Applications are welcome from both full time and part time candidates.
We are looking for a suitable graduate, with a Creative Arts background and has the ability to teach Art to all age groups in this thriving and popular department. We hope to find a candidate who is ambitious, enthusiastic and highly motivated who will look to sustain the high outcomes but develop the curriculum offer. The successful candidate will be highly proficient in a range of Art disciplines.
Candidates should have excellent communication skills when working with young people and possess the appropriate drive, expertise, and energy. The successful applicant would be expected to teach Art to all age groups, including GCSE classes.

Single Status Grade 7 £26,539 – 27,196 per annum (pro rata) *pay award pending
Actual pro rata salary range is £24,104 – £24,701 per annum
Permanent / 37 hours per week / 41 weeks per year (paid for 47.36 weeks per year to include holiday entitlement).
We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic and efficient Attendance Manager to join our team of committed professionals to continue the programme of regular monitoring of School attendance and punctuality.
The successful candidate will lead in improving and maintaining levels of attendance for students, as well as promoting a positive attendance and punctuality ethos throughout the school. To manage the work of the external Education Welfare service as well as leading the Pastoral Team in all matters relating to attendance.
