TEACHER OF ENGLISH
Full time / Full year / Permanent
MPS-UPS £30,000 – £46,525 per annum

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join a successful English department in a high-achieving school. The successful candidate will demonstrate passion for the subject and excellent disciplinary knowledge.
We are a highly successful, innovative and collegiate department and the successful candidate would be able to evidence these strengths in their own practice and would enjoy contributing to the drive for inspiring teaching and learning in the department.

SUPPORT STAFF VACANCIES
Single Status Grade 3 £22,737 per annum (pro rata)
Fixed term until 31st March 2025
34 hours per week/39 weeks per year (paid for 45.05 weeks per year to include holiday entitlement)
Actual pro rata salary is £18,051 per annum

We are seeking to appoint a team of hardworking and enthusiastic Learning Mentors who would act as role models to our students. The post would be perfect for individuals who have completed their current phase of education and wish to experience working in a professional environment before embarking on their chosen career path.
Duties will include: being a positive role model, supporting students in a range of subjects, helping students who require extra support, participation in school trips and supervising group activities
The successful candidates will help to develop students’ confidence and guide them how to access education to achieve their highest potential. They will need to have excellent communications skills, tolerance and sensitivity.
At Willingdon Community School, we invest heavily in our staff training. The successful candidates will be given opportunities to develop their own projects and gain skills required to ease them into the professional world of work.
